1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ChatCards you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChatCards. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. We use your date of birth to apply age-appropriate content settings.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or create. By uploading content you grant ChatCards a limited licence to process and display it solely to provide the service to you.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. When uploading copyrighted material, you must restrict its use to private study. Publicly sharing copyrighted material without authorisation is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Uploading illegal, harmful, or harassing content
• Attempting to circumvent access controls or security measures
• Using automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Sharing login credentials or impersonating another user

5. AI-generated content

ChatCards uses AI to generate flashcard content. AI output may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated material before relying on it for study or assessment.

6. Service availability

We provide the service "as is" without warranty. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
